Missing in Action

Sorry for the delay in writing in this blog but I have been real busy. Over the past few weeks I have celebrated my second anniversary, my son turned 5 months old, I had full access to the band The Gracious Few and took some great shots of them that can not only be found on my site but the site for the Troubador as well. I also have been working in the shop and had the yearly dance recital for A5678 that I was the only photographer for. I can not believe that in 2 days for the recital I took over 5,000 pictures. After sifting through many of them I posted them to the site and that only took a week of issues with my internet connection and slow upload times.

After all that I am finally back to writing...

A5678 Picture Day Tomorrow

Going to be a long day tomorrow. 12 straight hours at A5678 Dance Studio in West Hills. I have 5 minutes sessions set back to back for 12 straight hours. That is 144 sessions with children with ages from 4 to 17. Wish me luck......

Paperwork SIgned

It is all coming together. Just signed the paperwork for the studio. We are very excited. Looks like we will be moving in on the 1st of June. I look forward to seeing you at the new location.

The New Studio

Just got the word that we got the studio. We will be paying a slightly higher rate that we wanted but the cost is still within reason. Now all that is left is to sign the contracts and we will have our new home. I will be posting the new studio address as soon as the paperwork is finalized.

I look forward to having you at the new studio.

New Studio

Met with the realtor yesterday and we may have found our new home. The space has several office that will suffice and a large back area that is perfect for making into a full studio. Just need to get some contracts signed as I can start making the place look good.

Facebook

Facebook is a great service for a business like photography. From time to time you will get a customer who loves what you have done for them. In these cases if that person is a fan on your Facebook their post of praise can be turned into more fans and in the end more jobs. The shoot that I did over the weekend has already added 3 new people who would like similar pictures taken.

I love the internet.
